Life and Death of Marina Abramovic – vii
“An artist should avoid going to the studio every day”
STUDIO
Last night was the last performance in Manchester.
Everyone in the cast and crew will soon be returning to their “normal” life, wherever it may be around the globe, to their city, their apartment, their studio.
Over the last week, seven exhausting nights, the play is ending.
It has been seen by Viktor & Rolf, Riccardo Tisci, the director of the MoMA and many others.
But fear not, it will return, soon, somewhere else around the globe.

I am grateful for being with this work in a place that is sensually and erotically auspiciously a wordless realm of processing moments universes along with other such aspects of the spectrum of such processes developing the process of stasis continuum displaying the ephemeral coexistent process of the death of each moment becoming waiting for its moment to arrive we sing silently old songs erupting into the history of the future’s glimpse of itself wandering each empty gestural full floor stage stumble roll leap slowly up to turn return toward what had perhaps been the point of origin
